Environment, Health, Safety & Energy Policy

Since its establishment in 1982, Layana has been committed to fostering high-quality partnerships with suppliers and customers, providing employees with a positive and continuously growing work environment. To achieve sustainable corporate development and establish standardized management practices for minimizing environmental impact, we have implemented the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System. We prioritize the responsible use of energy resources, actively promote energy-saving measures, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Additionally, the company has adopted the ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System to enhance workplace safety and health management, mitigate operational risks, and ensure employee well-being.

All employees will work together to implement the ISO 50001 Energy Management System, taking concrete actions to achieve energy conservation goals, fulfill our responsibilities as global citizens, and establish a foundation for continuous improvement. We hereby commit to and continuously promote the following principles:

  1. Regulatory Compliance: All production activities adhere to regulatory requirements, promoting a green supply chain and environmentally friendly products. Through improvements in the workplace environment, we strive to achieve the goal of "zero workplace safety incidents."

  2. Environmental Protection: We actively implement low-toxicity product designs and easy-to-dismantle components, conduct carbon footprint assessments, conserve energy resources, minimize industrial waste, prevent pollution, and strengthen hazardous substance control to reduce environmental impact.

  3. Resource Optimization: We enhance employee training and education, promote continuous operational improvements, and foster sustainable corporate development.

  4. Risk Management: We establish a risk management framework, conduct regular assessments of environmental and occupational safety risks, and proactively implement improvements to achieve environmental sustainability and uphold our social responsibility in safeguarding employees.

Energy Policy

  1. Regulatory Compliance: Allocate resources for energy efficiency improvements and enforce energy regulations.
  2. Energy Efficiency Enhancement: Increase procurement of energy-efficient equipment and incorporate energy-saving designs in products and processes to meet energy-saving targets.
  3. Employee Participation: Develop suitable energy strategies and encourage full employee participation to support sustainable corporate operations.
  4. Continuous Improvement: Implement material-saving designs, energy reduction measures, and optimize energy efficiency.

Quality Policy

With a commitment to quality as the highest principle, Layana ensures comprehensive quality control across personnel, environment, supply chain, and products. Upholding the belief in continuous improvement, we aim to enhance overall quality and performance while exceeding customer expectations.

To achieve this quality policy, we base our approach on the IATF 16949:2016 Automotive Quality Management System.
