As we are mplementing our internal ESG policy, Layana aims to enhance employee physical fitness, reduce dependence on electronic products, and foster teamwork through activities that focus on carbon reduction, physical and mental health promotion, and collaboration.
Every spring, the Welfare Committee of Hengjiang Company holds a regular employee hiking activity and allows employees to bring their family members along. Through this activity, they can enjoy their holidays with their loved ones and colleagues while immersing themselves in nature.
This year's hiking activity was held on 3/11 (Sat) at the Hushanyan in Huatan, Changhua. The "Hushanyan Temple" was established in the 12th year of the Qing dynasty (1747 AD) and enshrines the Guanyin Buddha as its main deity. It is a third-level historic site in Changhua and is one of the two temples of the "Three Rocks" in central Taiwan.
In front of the temple, there are two ancient banyan trees with a history of over 200 years. The lush branches provide a cool resting place for many visitors. The mountain trail behind the temple has also been planned as a hiking and fitness route for the public. In addition, over 30,000 golden needle flowers are planted on the hillside next to the temple, creating a stunning golden sea of flowers from April to May every year, attracting many tourists to take photos.
The hiking trail this time started from the Hushanyan parking lot and continued through Dalinxiang. Along the way, the cherry blossoms offered a spectacular view. Although it's not a typical mountain trail, we walked about 1.5 hours round trip. The increasingly hot weather was a real challenge for our endurance on the way.
After the hiking activity, we went to the famous "Black Rooster Flavored Restaurant" in the area to enjoy a delicious lunch. The sight of a table full of food was the most enjoyable moment after the exercise. After the meal, the Welfare Committee added a special treat of "Black Little Rooster Italian-style handmade ice cream" to bring a little joy to the hot weather.
I always look forward to the company's annual hiking event. Taking advantage of the good weather during the holiday, I brought my parents to participate in the company's activity and improve our physical fitness together. The lunch was absolutely delicious, and I am grateful to the company for such a wonderful experience.

I don't have much time to spend with my child after work, so I'm grateful to the company for organizing the hiking activity. It was wonderful to be able to go outdoors and connect with nature together!
