Layana COMPANY has been implementing Six Sigma improvement projects since 2003, and now reaching the 13th year of operation. From Oct. 2014 to Jan. 2015, Layana attended the GLSS GB training session held by the customer, Molex. The teaching material was compiled by “Juran Institute,” which was founded by the American quality management giant, Joseph M. Juran. The training session not only provided the professional knowledge of Six Sigma but also practically arranged for us to conduct the Six Sigma project “Reduce Defective Rate of Stamping Product P/N74754-0632.”
Special thanks to the black belt master Derek Xiong, the black belt Alex Liao, SQA Lucifer Chung, and so on, for the guidance during the process. It has enabled Layana to complete the project on May 8th, 2015, and fulfill the improvement goal afterward.
What even more honorable is, on June 1st, 2016, Molex DSS SQE Manager Pans Pan awarded us with the “Molex 2015 Best in Class” medal. He also told us that Layana is the first supplier being awarded it. With the customer’s high recognition, Layana COMPANY will keep on learning aggressively, continuously promoting Six Sigma projects, and efficiently improve the long-term issues at work!
