Since the 1st of November, Typhoon Swan approached the Philippines as the most powerful storm ever to have occurred anywhere in the world so far this year. This caused floods, landslides, and heavy rains, which devastatingly affected over two million people in the country.

It was over 100 people joined the event, which raised a total of $80,000 NTD revenue including donations.

In addition, one of LAYANA’s Philippine employees received a private donation from the founder as her house in the hometown was destroyed by the typhoon, too. This was to support her and her family to build a new house before Christmas is coming soon.

We hope this initiative will help to heal the damage that happened in the Philippines regardless of destroyed homes or mental health; we are grateful to see people willing to participate in this activity and thankful for generous donations from everyone.
