Layana has reached the following requirements:
- Develop a policy for more efficient use of energy
- Achieve targets and objectives to meet the policy
- Use data to better understand and make decisions about energy use
- Measure the results
- Review how well the policy works, and
- Improve energy management continually
2020 Target for Layana is to operate a 1% reduction in the rate of saving power usage.
In 2017, as the new headquarter is operated in Lukang, Layana has certificated the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and the Carbon Footprint Label. In 2019, energy management has become one of Layana’s focuses, considering how to maximize limited resources and reach the energy-saving rate of 1%. Therefore, by following the ISO 50001 Energy Management requirements, Layana has been doing the processes
- Exam the energy usage
- Datamation the current energy usages
- Analyze the data
- Assess the possible solutions of how to save energy and plan out the steps
- Implement the solutions and improve the system
In the future, we are targeting out smart energy saving, by using a smart technology management system, collecting immediate data from all the internal energy resources, and analyzing them before storing them.
